The Homecoming[:D], The Treadmilling[:(], The Booking[;)], The Mewing[:o]

With the semester exams being an absolute cracker and having performed amazingly great, I returned home, with a sense of relief- that i had aced them "all".. with a sense of satisfaction that i had prepped my best.. with the happiness tingling in my heart, light and nice and cool..
HOW I WISH??!! Goodness gracious, They were an absolute "crack"er. yes, i was burning the midnight oil, deep engrossed in tin-tin when i had to tackle micro processors??! call it irresponsibility at its near perfect manifestation! "OH MY GOD!-How in this wild world do you mange being you?!"- is something i cant stop exclaiming at myself. i stay this way. period?
well, i was home. happy.hostel life is fun, alright, yes, even during exams( especially for folks who are hell-bent on watching kuch kuch hota hai for the 11th time. despite having four (out of five units , that is), herculean units to be done with before the exam, the next afternoon.. the midnight maggi parties..the cofees for the nightouts?! (whats that, by the way?).. the pep-up music (yes, some people listen to himesh reshamm.. too (aint that very thought stimulating enough?)..(actually to refresh the squeezed, tired minds after cart loads of reading and assimilating, but am ubiquitous there too, to give the cheers-"yo baby! the party's on! 'and all").. and when the kids do slog, am blissfully asleep.hostel sure's fun, but there are times when you miss everyone back home, times when you yearn for that hug from your mom, dad's advice?!, (yes yes, my dad reads my blogs too:) ) those moments where you try extra hard to overhear mom and the pokey neighbour discussing about the latest, hottest(neednt be!) l'affaire which sprouted between how- do-i-know-who and how-do-i-know-who-else,the ac , my sweetheart-ish COMP, La un-idiot box, being the inanimate things i sorely miss. and so yay! i was home to experience the bliss of doing nothing (absolutely). actually nothing to freak about.
oh yea, just got placements coming in mid june (by the way, sweetie, it's less than a month away..), CAT, MAT, XAT,RAT?! etc and a few more (well, dont ask me to list the rest, "etc" is the most helpful word in the english language. very deftly, fills up for 'hell-i-know-no-more-of-this-kind-of-issues!!), and a couple of projects to resume and other agenda to be fulfilled for mommy dear, like resuming classical music , cooking (!?!) and most importantly, to get on this flab-reducing- mode, so i was "ordered" to treadmill every morning. nothing to sniff about though.
Treadmilling was great, alright, was over the moon for burning 202 calories, on an all time high!oh did i mention that the treadmilling became extinct in my "schedule" (sounds big, right?[;)]) Books: The blessed cousin of mine who is a vooorrrrraccious (hope the extra letters have emphasized the degree;) ) reader and yes, as expected, he had this huge list of favorites when I appealed to His highness. A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy- "Crazy, riotous,out-of-the-mind and hilarious" was the expert's verdict. I went "slurp".. I really do not know if i was doped or something when i did start hitchhiking. for stats' sake (am no don bradman equivalent in reading, but still u know..;)) i havent read past the twenty fourth word on page fourteen and that has been 'achieved' after having spent a whole five hours on that. (I know the figures are eye-popping for different reasons, for once ,not at those mind boggling "dream" IIM-offers!). And my darling brother was kind of bewildered to see the book "shelved"(the-placing-in-the-rack-act:D). "Dude!! Not in the groove, i guess. Give me something I can appreciate and fall in love with without just laughing my way and having those momentary moments with the book?.." With a more bewildered expression outwardly lacing the suppressed, but vurgeoning irritation,he went like.."Hmmm.. I think your taste towards poignant and poetry-in-prose kind of literature has positively elevated ,(atleast, Ipresume). Trivialities dont seem to amuse you no longer. Why dont you try Midnight's Children? Drenched with allusions and beautiful nuances.." And I was already asleep by then. I didnt feel like baby sitting those children. Boo hoo, man!! "How about Silence of the lambs?!" Hell, I didnt have any problems with noisy lambs, let david *shepherd* do it if he wants to! The usually patient guy went mad and red and dizzy irritated and why not, when an absolutely jobless moron drives him crazy? Oh, Keshav, if you are reading this, well, I extend my heart-felt (ahem!) sympathy. [;)]My CAT classes were keeping in synchronism with the now-flourishing- technologies too.Talking of smaller things everywhere, from bipashah's minis to MEMS etc, and here too, *the miniature stamp* The four hour class reduced to one hour,(oh dont take that as cribbing, i almost jumped when i heard that,as much glee as a kid about to gobble a chocolate!).
holidays.. bliss..peace..:)
twiddle my thumbs (well, a new activity, a new-found passion, in fact;))
gaze at the walls (people say am a thinker?!;))
the boundless yap ("do i stop to breathe?", is a debatable question.)
snoozing with even a sportstar (which is embarassing!)
the occasional day-mares (:( , about a certain "sir", a perfect hybrid of a grizzly bear and the usual villain in the tamil cinema, the "one" who expected a perfect response for a first order filter (which by the way is not realisable..(ahem, i think so!!)).
pondering over my kaalaa-jaamoon-ish facade, not that i was milk white any before, but "this" is quite a metamorphosis.. *the bow* to the ball of crimson!
the rest of the "activities" arent even worth mentioning, now dont ask me if the aforementioned are any great or even mentionable?! did i tell you i go conveniently mute, from time to time ?!
:-p
