The Darkness of the Noon..
Even the noon seemed dark
The "dark"- cold and biting
Not a flicker of glimmer
The once forged ties seem severed
Agonisingly sudden and rapid
Groped for some peace
Till I met Futility and beyond
Buried under the dumps
Enduring the burden, its weight
Scaling high, the gloom
The road ahead, the future-
Dangerously uncharted.
What looms large-
The inevitable doom..
Deaf to the bird's tweet
Dead to the kindling breeze
The rustle of the leaves
The music of nature-
Goes unusually unrelished
The flower wilts.. withers..
All shrivelled, ah.. insignificance !
There are phases in life when things just dont seem to go your way, irrespective of the striving.. irrespective of the effort.. Shattered, stifled and broken. To brave It all, to confront It and to overcome It is the issue, nothing more, nothing less !
