About to be crumbled and mutilated.. LET'S ACT NOW !

ah what's with the morons , YES, i mean the supposed beacons , who SHOULD be showing us the path to glory !? how is it that they unfailingly come out with well chalked out schemes and plans to degrade the flourishing nation? conscientiously at that. the rich and unique spirit of India is 'unity in diversity'. a well known ideology which is sprinkled all over the text books for the kids to imbibe and nurture the thought AND live by it. but wow! what's happening here? an express erosion of that value which identifies itself with our nation, that spirit. the reservation issue reeks, if i may add, STINKS of propaganda. there cant be a thing which is more disgusting than reservations. is it not pretty glaring that the supposed purpose of this policy is destroyed at the time of its germination? if schools are said to be levellers, then why.. why should there be lesser cut-offs for "them" to enter into an institute when the cut-off expected of the more privileged kids is way ahead of the former ?why the discriminaton? can you tell me which class is "ignored"? ha, cant get more ridiculous! when i think so, i get reminded of the reservations looming large on pg courses. why.. why in the world? can you muster the balls you got and go to a doctor who got his medical seat,thanks to the reservation quota? have enough chutzpah to reply in the affirmative? NO ! and yes, it reaches a new, a never-before crescendo when the shrines of learning, the priceless jewels IITs and the IIMs are brought under its unyielding clutches. apalling. the quality which it boasts of, the cream which it churns year after year, for sure will become a thing of the past if these deceitful strategies are given life. the decay is going to be faster. just when the nation is beginning to abandon the tunnel-vision and transcend beyond caste, creed and other lesser things, the blessed politicians come into the picture to seed the almost forgotten vices. man, amazing social service, i must say! did i talk about reservation for women. though am one and yes, i do look forward to a world we ARE treated as equals. but not through quotas, please. i want to be lauded for my capabilities. i dont want the suspicious eyes to dissect me with the afterall-you-got-through-the-"quota" kind of glares . am sure every woman's going to hate that. the already evanascent spirit of India (hey but this spirit ought'nt be volatile like the tangible one..) seems to have evaporated. :(
